President Obama speaks moments after the historic passage by the House of Representatives of the Senate’s health reform legislation.

The U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 3962, the Affordable Health Care for America Act, with a vote of 220-215.  Only one Republican voted in favor of passage of the bill.  Below is video of the historic moment.

Why we need reform:
Over 46 million Americans have no medical coverage at all, millions more are under-insured or fear losing coverage. If we continue on our current path health care costs will continue to soar and within the next decade one out of every five dollars will be spent on health care.
